Introducing simplicity
January 25th, 2010 by snowkissed received 2 Comments »When I had a lot more free-time (if you can call University free-time
), I was able and willing to manage a CMS like Joomla and customize it and work with it and try to keep it as current as possible. That got a little too tiring and I found that a lot of the functionality it provided was actually more than I needed, so it became difficult to keep it simple. Blogging, especially just a quick update, became a pain because I had to be careful I didn’t break the formatting of whatever theme I was using.
I am hoping that WordPress will be nicer, simpler and gentler. So far so good. I’m also planning on re-merging my gaming blog with my personal. I don’t update often enough so both sites end up looking rather dead!
Your patience is appreciated (if you even bother to come anymore
) as I find the look and feel that suits me best.
I struggled to make this little box sound insightful, witty and philosophical all at the same time. I think we all do that. But it honestly boils down to this: I have an opinion and I like to share it.

Looks good. Where the background from?
It came with the theme (called “New York”), which I found in wordpress’s theme directory. I’m hoping to tweak the CSS to personalize it a little more.
